SOTA 4 summits a day

As Franz has activated 4 summits with 10 points each last weekend we decided to do so again and activated 4 summits together today in the border area of Salzburg and Tirol.We claimed 28 points on Sonnkogel, Kuhfeldhörndl, Spielberghorn and Barnkogel and are very happy about so many stations coming back to our CQ calls! Many thanks to Stephan DM1LE for one SOTA to SOTA qso today between OE/SB-233 and OE/TI-464.
The KX3 configuration works very well – we used just one 4 Ah battery and it was discharged to abt. 50% after 30 SSB-qsos (ATN) and abt. 50 CW-qsos (SNL).

If WX stays good in October and the snow does not come down too early we maybe can do some more activations this autumn!
